Basic Sciences Lab
Research in our Basic Sciences Laboratory focuses on the basic physiology of cells. Scientists perform specialized testing on various aspects of cell growth and functioning. The information gained here about how cells work can later be translated to animal or human research and then to medical practice. Our program truly lives up to the "bench-to bedside-to community" paradigm. Research begins in cellular and molecular biology and advances through many stages to impacting our community through improved quality of healthcare.
